Q: What project(s) are you working on at your practicum site?
A: Length of Stay and Capacity Management at IU Health South Central Region.
Q: What skills are you using most at your practicum site (that you learned through your MSHM coursework)?
A: Data Analytics skills (Excel) heavy work at my practicum. Project Management skills learned from Practicum have been integral as well.
Q: Have you attended any career fairs/networking events? Who did you meet? What did you take away from this experience?
A: I attended two networking events and completed 20 informational interviews during recruitment season.
Q: Have you worked with career services at Kelley or O’Neill? What did you take away from this experience?
A: I have worked with Kelley Career Services to navigate the recruitment season. I have never been so comfortable, confident, and supported during such a new experience as job hunting.
Q: Have you secured a job (post-graduation)?
A: I accepted an analyst position at Claro Healthcare in Chicago, Illinois.
Q: Do you feel supported by program faculty and staff?
A: I feel very much supported by our professors and directors
Q: What is your favorite part of the MSHM program thus far?
A: It is having built friendships with like-minded individuals that will truly last a lifetime.
Q: Do you feel connected to your peers (in your cohort)?
A: Despite being remote I am incredibly grateful to have built such strong relationships with my fellow cohort members.
