
Q: Where were you prior to MSHM? (Undergrad major, undergrad university, job?)
A: Indiana University Bloomington, graduated in May 2024 with a degree from O’Neill in Healthcare Management and Policy with a minor in Human Resource Management
Q: What are you most excited about for this coming year?
A: I am most excited for the Kelley Business of Life Sciences Certificate program that starts in October! It is going to informative to get to know different businesses within this industry and broaden my network. It is a great opportunity that is offered to us.
Q: What does it mean to you to “Lead for the Greater Good”?
A: This means to me that we as leaders within O’Neill need to put others first. To Lead for the Greater Good means that when we are in our respective industries specifically healthcare we need to think about the patient first and every decision we make is for the wellbeing of the patient and also make sure our employees feel heard and seen.
Q: What types of roles are looking for post-graduation?
A: I am very eager to jump into a variety of industries! I have been interested in positions within hospitals, medical schools, medical device, animal health, and pharmaceuticals related to quality, safety, project management, marketing to name a few. I am very willing to try anything out that may peak my interest that comes my way.
Q: Do you feel supported by program faculty and staff?
A: Yes! April is the best and is always looking out for us students. Any issue I have I am very supported. Our professors have been amazing thus far as well.
Q: What is your favorite part of the MSHM program thus far?
A: The opportunity to be involved with a practicum site and get real world experience and how genuinely excited the preceptors seem to be to help develop us young leaders!
