Organization
Sojourn House is a non-profit organization in Bloomington, Indiana that exist to defend, liberate and restore victims of human trafficking. The program operates in 2 phases. Phase 1 is outreach in the community and has existed for one year. Phase 2 is transitional housing with 6-24 month programming that includes healing, education, careers, sustainability, and graduation.

Job/Project Overview
Sojourn House. Ideally the candidate would report to the house two days a week for 4 or 5 hours and then work virtually on projects. Projects will include fundraising, program and curriculum evaluation, and program planning.
Qualifications

– Good communication and potentially some public speaking

– Confidence to speak up and contribute to ideas
Preceptor
Amy Meek has been a nurse in the community for 26 years. Because of her witness to human trafficking in the community, she co-founded Sojourn House to help women not only escape, but find their strength and thrive.
