Q: Where were you prior to MSHM? (Undergrad major, undergrad university, job?)
A: I graduated from Indiana University in 2022. After college, I worked at Elevance Health (Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield) as an outreach specialist. Currently, I’m an RBT specialist working in ABA therapy.
Q: What are you most excited about for this coming year?
A: I’m most excited about learning how to be a better healthcare provider and diving into the job search process.
Q: What does it mean to you to “Lead for the Greater Good”?
A: To me, leading for the greater good means always striving for a positive outcome, even if it means going through tough situations to get there.
Q: What types of roles are you looking for post-graduation?
A: I’m looking to become a healthcare consultant or project manager. My goal is to land a job at Eli Lilly.
Q: Do you feel supported by program faculty and staff?
A: Absolutely. The support in this program is immense. I feel comfortable reaching out to anyone in my cohort or the faculty, and I know they’ll help me if I need it.
Q: Do you feel connected to your peers (in your cohort)?
A: Yes, I feel very connected to my peers. Everyone is supportive, and it’s easy to collaborate and build relationships within the cohort.
Q: What is your favorite part of the MSHM program thus far?
A: My favorite part of the program has been meeting with my career coach. She has really helped me prepare for the next step in my career and provided invaluable guidance along the way.
