The Stanford Center for Continuing Medical Education is a global leader in the promotion of lifelong learning among professionals in healthcare. As such, we advance patient and population health and promote innovation by planning and implementing accredited continuing education activities to enhance the professional development of healthcare teams both locally and regionally, in the San Francisco Bay area, in the greater Pacific region, nationally, and globally. To accomplish this mission we facilitate a myriad of diverse education projects that involve learners each month from every state in the nation and most countries in the world. Job/Project Overview
The graduate fellow will help Stanford Medicine deliver top-notch programing to clinicians in an effort to improve patient care. Specific tasks will vary and will be negotiated based on qualifications and desires. At any given time we have a need for individuals skilled in project management, process improvement, data analytics, marketing, and technology for app development.
Sample projects:
• Manage an educational intervention that is designed to deliver education to a group of clinicians.
• Manage the creation of an online learning module(s).
• Develop a digital dashboard designed to help leadership make more informed decisions.
• Develop and manage an internal process improvement project.
• Create process maps documenting processes.
• Create infographic type visuals.
• Develop a business plan for a new line of business.
• Develop and potentially manage the creation of a learning app.
• Develop and potentially manage a transition plan from one LMS to another.
• Develop a national online resource/database designed to serve as a clearing house of basic information for CME providers around the world.
• Develop a virtual CME world for learners.
Qualifications
Looking for people that are team players, hard working, willing to learn, and have a desire to change the world. A good sense of humor is always welcomed.
Strong computer skills, communication, organization, and project management will be required for any project that we assign to you. We will do our best to align our needs with your skills!

Kurt Snyder is the Executive Director of Continuing Medical Education at Stanford University. He is known as a thought leader, innovator, and a global leader in continuing medical education.
