Job/Project Overview

The mission of the Operational Excellence department is “to develop & empower people through the transfer of knowledge so team members can be problem solvers & achieve the Riley Vision.” As an intern with Riley OpEx, you will support the OpEx team with training and coaching problem solving methodologies, data analysis, team facilitation, application of change management strategies and in the implementation of Management System practices.

Qualifications

• Data collection, analysis and visual presentation (Excel required, PowerBI use and development is a plus)
• Facilitation skills

Hello, my name is Jenny Spry; I serve as the Director of Operational Excellence at Riley Children’s Health. I have been with Riley for about 1 year and IU Health for 6 years (all in the Operational Excellence department.) I started my career in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Leadership. After about 10 years in that industry, I became passionate about taking the lean and process improvement skills I utilized there and applying them with healthcare leaders.
