Job/Project Overview
The Quality, Safety, & Infection Prevention Analytics team at IUH Methodist & University Hospitals ( Adult Academic Health Center) seeks a talented intern focused on data analytics. You will work side by side with clinicians, leaders, & other analysts focused on supporting ongoing projects that are furthering safer patient care within the largest hospitals within the state of Indiana. The projects you participate in will have a direct impact on practice and provide insights to leaders and clinicians on the floor alike. Our team is excited to work with you in crafting an experience tailored towards your goals and ours alike.
Qualifications
• Desired Skills:
o Experience Working with Statistical Programming Language (R preferred)
o Experience Working with Data Visualization Software (Power BI preferred)
o Experience Working with SQL (T-SQL preferred)
o Basic Statistics Knowledge (Parametric vs. Non-Parametric methods, etc.)
• Personal Characteristics:
o Passion for Patient-Centered Care & Supporting Clinicians
o Detail Oriented

He is an alumnus of IU Bloomington & currently working on his master’s in Epidemiology at the Richard M. Fairbanks school of public health.
