IU Health Bloomington and the RAHC is a brand new state-of-the-art facility in southern Indiana. The facility is the central part of IU Health South Central Region and is the main hub of activity and care. With the building of the new hospital, the delivery of care has changed drastically.

Job/Project Overview

With this job you will work along side the patient experience and Emergency Dept leadership to better understand gaps in patient experience, and better meet the needs of our patients who fall within some of our more difficult populations. The projects you will be involved in will require you to build strong relationships with both leaders as well as patients that we serve. You will then need to be able to merge the subjective and objective information and apply them to process improvement projects. You will then need to be able to monitor data for success.

My name is Sam Compton-Craig, I am a patient experience consultant at IU Health Bloomington. I have a Doctorate degree in physical therapy and worked at the IU Health Morgan outpatient clinic for 8 years before transitioning to this patient experience role. I currently live just outside of Bloomington on a small farm with my wife and three kids.
