Q: What project(s) did you work on at your practicum site? Where was your practicum site?
My practicum was at Eskenazi Health, I worked as a QM Project Assistant. Throughout my practicum site I worked to increase the rate of cervical cancer screening within Eskenazi Health’s Infectious Disease Clinic. I had the opportunity to work through the project management materials I learned throughout the program as well as venture into the data analytical side of my project.
Q: Have you secured a job (post-graduation)?
Currently, I’m working to streamline the Hep C program at Eskenazi Health as a Hepatitis C Care Coordinator for the Infectious Disease Clinic
Q: What was your favorite part of the MSHM program far?
My favorite part of the MSHM program was the unconditional support I received from the faculty, staff, and my peers.
Q: Did you feel connected to your peers (in your cohort)?
I’m still incredibly close to my MSHM cohort, I made lifelong friends in the program and am grateful for them every day.
Q: What is some advice you have for the next generation of MSHM students?
To the next generation of MSHM, I advise to lean on your peers!!! This program is intense but well worth it, it’ll prepare you in for the professional world in so many ways.
