Anna Nowicki Jessee. I am totally fascinated with the world around us. When I was younger I loved looking at rocks and the landscape around me, and still do today as a PhD candidate in geology at Indiana University. The way the Earth works fascinates me, and the idea of pursuing and developing this knowledge in order to help people around the world live with geologic hazards (particularly earthquakes and landslides, in my current research) inspires me!
