At the CITL, we’ve heard from many instructors about support resources for students during the move to virtual instruction. Beginning on Monday, March 23, Writing Tutorial Service will offer online consultations to IUB students. As they have in the past, students will use our online scheduler, which is located on the WTS website. The 45-minute online sessions will be conducted via Zoom. Students who are unable to access Zoom or our online scheduler can receive feedback by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. For questions on how to prepare for their online session, students should visit the online tutoring section of the WTS website.
Beginning on March 30, WTS tutors will be available for “walk-in” virtual tutoring through the Academic Support Center’s Tutoring Services page. Students who need help with math or introductory business courses (A100 or K201) will also find these tutoring services through the Academic Support Center.
For other questions about support services for faculty, staff, and students, please see IU’s Frequently asked questions page. If you have questions about teaching support or Writing Tutorial Services, please e-mail us at email@example.com.
