We headed to Linton-Stockton Elementary for STEM day.
We worked with students from grades k-5 with a variety of things
One group built with Lego’s for the LEGO coding competition
Another group coded the Root robot from iRobot.
A third group of students built a maze (okay , some didnt understand what a maze is, so we had it follow a line we drew on paper) and coded a BeeBot and a Code & Go Mouse to get through the maze.
We had a break in between to get lunch and do some “STEM Director” errands. We took this opportunity to check out the Chemistry students “Scientist Gravestones”
At the end of the day, we helped another group with their VEX kits, sorting and finding parts for a particular build.
