The jazz bands rehearse during elective class time and give a performance near the end of the week.
How to sign up
When you register for the IU Summer Music Clinic, you will select a first-choice and second-choice Elective Class.
- Select “Jazz Band” as your first choice elective class.
- Indicate your preferred instrument to play in jazz band.
- Auditions for placement in the jazz bands are held on the first day of Clinic, after the large ensemble placement audition. Learn more about auditions>>
