Assistant Professor Kyle Jones presented at the IOLUG Fall 2016 Conference
Assistant Professor Kyle Jones recently presented at Indiana Online User Group’s Fall 2016 conference. This year’s theme, “Let Our Powers Combine: Engage. Partner. Inspire,” brought together a range of academic library professionals from Indiana, Illinois, and even Nevada. Dr. Jones addressed the ethical issues that are emerging when academic libraries participate in learning analytics projects. About his talk, Dr. Jones said:
Indiana State Library Rare Books and Manuscripts Internship
The Indiana State Library was founded in 1825 for the primary use of the legislature and other officers of government. Its purpose has since been expanded to include serving all residents of the state. The Rare Books and Manuscripts Division includes over 3 million manuscripts; 4,500 collections, ranging from the early 15th century to present day.
IU Alumni Reception
On Wednesday, November 9, please plan on attending the IU alumni reception at this year’s Indiana Library Federation Conference. The reception runs from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
