Marian University seeks qualified candidates for Director of University Library Services, reporting to the Assistant Provost. The Director manages all library operations including budget, planning, personnel, and coordination of building activities and learning spaces, and works with the administration and library team to ensure appropriate levels of library support, interacting with library users on a daily basis. Through the vision and leadership skills necessary to promote and advance the Library as an academic center, the Director represents the library in national, state and local professional and consortia organizations, and serves on university committees and groups.

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which replaces No Child Left Behind,
is in its draft stages in Indiana. Many states, who are further along in
the process, have been successful at getting their states to recognize
school libraries and school library programming in their state’s document.
So far, Indiana has not been that fortunate.
Part Time Library Assistant Needed at Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library
The Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library in Bloomfield, Indiana, with a main library and a branch library serving 15,000 residents, is seeking a part-time (20-25 hours/week) Library Assistant for the main library in Bloomfield and the Eastern branch library. The typical schedule will include a mix of daytime, evening, and Saturday hours. A candidate with a flexible and open schedule may be able to sub into additional hours as needed. Starting pay is a competitive hourly wage of $8.50-$10.00/hour depending on qualifications.
