Hi everyone!
Are you new to your journey and want in-person experience with libraries? Are you close to graduation and want to solidify your path to librarianship? Curious about libraries in general? The Association of LIS Students (ALISS) will be providing opportunities to tour libraries in Indianapolis where you can ask managers & librarians in the field any questions you may have. First up is a tour of Central Library (40 E St. Clair St, Indianapolis, IN) with building manager Mike Williams, Archivist Amy Griffin and Center for Black Literature and Culture Specialist Nichelle Hayes on Monday February 26 at 5:30. We will meet in the Atrium of Central Library to start our tour and parking passes will be provided. For more information please see the ALISS Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/165341210908319/. Feel free to email Stephen or Lauren if you have any questions or aren’t on FB.
Hope to see you there!
