In an ongoing effort to recognize great employees (Q4 of our 2022 MyVoice engagement survey), IUSB HR has introduced the Titan Superstar. This tool allows IU community members to recognize faculty and staff for the impact that they have made supporting this campus and IUSB community members. Let our faculty and staff community members know they are appreciated and that their good work is valued!

AAUW Scholarship applications invited by May 1
Scholarship applications are being accepted from area women 25 years and older who are enrolled in an accredited four-year college, junior college or community college, or an accredited post-high school technical training program. The 2 winners will each receive a $1,000 scholarship from the South Bend branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). The application process includes a form, an essay, and a written recommendation. For more information and to receive an application form, contact Darlene Scherer at 574-703-7053 or e-mail:

Hello, fellow Titans!
We are gathering information to add diverse items to the Titans Feeding Titans food pantry so we can continue serving our campus as best we can.
Examples of products: sexual health products, Black hair care products, unique snacks like Japanese mochi, Italian biscotti, Mexican tamales, and Indian samosas. Also, a range of spices such as curry powder, saffron, chili paste, Mexican hot chocolate, etc.
Please be specific, as that will let us know exactly what we can ask the campus to purchase.

BFA II Exhibition showcases the work of IUSB students graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. This is the first of three BFA exhibitions that take place during the academic year. Each highlights the capstone projects created by the students in a variety of media including painting, drawing, graphic design, photography, ceramics and sculpture. The cohesive bodies of work on view speak to both the growth of their practice and where it is headed as these fabulous artists begin their professional careers. Gallery hours: Mon–Fri | 12:00–4:00 p.m. EST. Exhibition runs April 7th – May 2nd.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is an advocate and leader in equity and education in critical areas impacting the lives of all women. The South Bend AAUW is giving one $1,000 scholarship for the 2025-26 school year.
Eligible applicants must be a woman 25 years or older who is enrolled in an accredited four-year college, junior college, or community college, or an accredited post-high school technical training program. The application process includes an application form, an essay, and a letter of recommendation. Application forms may be downloaded at the AAUW website: https://southbend-in.aauw.net/scholarship/. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2025. Winners will receive $1,000 to be applied to tuition fees and will be delivered directly to the academic institution through the student’s identification number.
