It is almost time to submit your final grades. Here are a few steps you can take to get ready and to make sure your students are seeing accurate grades.
Options for handling missing grades
- Excuse an assignment by typing EX in the gradebook cell.
- Enter a zero for a missing grade. Apart from manually entering zeroes, there are two options for having Canvas automatically convert empty cells to zeroes:
- You can set a default grade per grade book column: How do I set a default grade for an assignment in the Gradebook?
- Have Canvas substitute all empty cells in the grade book with zeroes: How do I apply a Missing Submission policy in the Gradebook?
