IU & The Dimension Mill (&others) held a Friday night block party to celebrate innovation, entrepreneurship, art, and community in the heart of Bloomington’s Trades District. There were a bunch of food trucks, crafters/entrepreneurs selling their wares, a robotics team (or two), Parks & Rec with their yard games trailer that you can rent, MCCSC STEM to Them bus, as well as music and beverages

The activity I had involved straws. The goal was to create a replica of the architectural sculpture in the area.
There were lots of people at the event, but the parking lot we (MCCSC and Parks & Rev) were in was dark after 5:15 (event was 5-8), so not too many people came to us. I had 9 kids and 9 adults come by, some just chatted, a few built models
