Community & School Partnerships brings JH/HS students to visit IU. Often we do a STEM/Maker activity with them as part of their tour. Lately we have been using kits from TeacherGeek. This time we had 45 students from Emma Donnan. We start off with one of the CSP Ambassadors reading the book “Goodnight Indiana University”, which is a little pictorial tour of the Bloomington campus. Then students get to building their kit. Usually it takes a while for us to get students to actually follow the directions, but eventually they do. Then they get to take the kits back to school.
