This year, Indiana University will be celebrating Juneteenth in a much bigger way. In an email received from the president of the university, Dr. Pamela Whitten writes, “Indiana University will recognize this important day of freedom and independence annually, and for the first time on Monday, June 20, IU offices will be closed. This will be a paid university holiday for our faculty and staff.”
The IIDC and its Library will be closed on Monday, June 20th and will re-open on Tuesday, June 21st at 8:00 a.m.
