This December, the Indiana Resource Center for Autism will be sponsoring a workshop entitled Recognizing the Signs and Supporting Students with Mental Health Diagnoses. This workshop will provide participants with information on how to detect a need for mental health support by evaluating both internal and external signs. Case studies will be examined to better understand how to use that information to create supportive classrooms and meaningful connections with supportive services. Participants will then spend time building a process for assessment and intervention for supporting the mental health needs of our students.
