Elliott Bark‘s “Reminiscence” for String Orchestra will be performed by professional Finnish string orchestra “St. Michel Strings (Mikkelin kaupunginorkesteri)” at its season finale concert, May 16, in the Mikaeli concert hall (Mikkeli, Finland) under the baton of Sasha Makila.

Texu Kim receives Goethe Institut commission
Texu Kim was awarded a 5,000 Euro commission by the Goethe Institut South Korea for the Asian Composers Showcase and Concert, one of the concerts of Tongyeong International Music Festival (TIMF) in March. It will be premiered by Ensemble TIMF during the festival.
Ezra Donner winner in MTNA competition
Ezra Donner was awarded $,1500 as the Second-Place winner at the Young Artist level in the National Composition Competition of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
