Yie-Eun Chun’s chamber piece, ‘A Little Puppet Play,’ has been selected for performance by the contemporary ensemble TIMF (Tongyeong International Music Festival) in Seoul, Korea, November 15th-16th, 2013.

Congratulations to Ryan Diefenderfer for being selected as a winner of the 2013 National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Student Composition Competition for his piece, Krakowian Dances.  In addition to receiving a cash prize, Ryan’s piece will be performed at the National Association for Music Education’s National In-Service Conference in Nashville, TN in October.

Ezra Donner’s Mountain Suite for String Orchestra will be performed October 12, 2013, by the Chamber Orchestra of New York in Carnegie Hall. The piece was chosen as the 2012 winner of the Respighi Prize, offering performance opportunities for young talented composers and soloists through the inspiration of Ottorino Respighi’s music.
