Update from Grant Luhmann
Grant Luhmann has been asked by musicians and the Board of Directors of the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra to compose a new work for solo tuba and large orchestra. The work will be premiered by the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra with conductor John Ricarte and tubist Philip Walker in the 2014-15 concert season.

Corey Rubin’s After the Dazzle of Day, for SATB chorus, wind ensemble, and strings, will be premiered at Carnegie Hall in New York City on February 7th. Corey Dundee Wins Calefax Reed Quintet’s International Composer’s Competition
Corey Dundee was recently named winner of the Calefax Reed Quintet’s International Composer’s Competition for my work F.U.B.A.R. for reed quintet. Kevin Hartnett’s new choral piece There Is a Flower was premiered by Kantorei of Kansas City in December. The ensemble, led by artistic director Chris Munce, performed the piece on two concerts in Kansas City as part of their “Meditations and Carols” Christmas program.
