James Aikman’s Triptych: Musical Momentum was recently performed by the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra on April 11th at the Schrott Center for the Arts. Texu Kim appointed composer-in-residence at Korean Symphony Orchestra
Texu Kim, a D.M. student of Claude Baker, has been appointed composer-in-residence at the Korean Symphony Orchestra, one of the finest orchestras in South Korea. Williamson, Frizzo, and Kim named finalists in C4 Commissioning Competition
All three finalists of the 2014-15 C4 Commissioning Competition are IU composers: Gordon Williamson (recent D.M. student), Carlo Frizzo (current D.M. student), and Texu Kim (current D.M. student).
