John Gibson visited Venice, Italy, where his laptop ensemble piece, Wind Farm, was performed by the Arazzi Laptop Ensemble as part of the 8th Sound and Music Computing Conference. They have asked him to compose another networked laptop ensemble piece for their growing repertoire.

Jeremy Podgursky’s Ouroboros will be premiered by the Lost Dog New Music Ensemble (NYC) as part of the Astoria Music Society series. The first performance will be April 28th at the Waltz-Astoria in Queens with a repeat performance on April 30th at Goodman Recital Hall, Kaufman Center in Manhattan.
