Melody Eotvos wins Australian national composers award
Melody Eotvos was recently awarded first place in the Soundstream National Composers Award competition after the world premiere of a new work for the Soundstream Ensemble Collective (Adelaide, Australia). The award results in a commission for a new work to be premiered in 2013.
Nicholas Cline has composition released on SEAMUS album
Nicholas Cline has had a piece accepted for the SEAMUS Electroacoustic Miniatures 2012: Re-Caged album. It will be released for digital download along with about 20 other pieces. The work was based on an earlier toy piano piece.
