Alumnus Mischa Zupko, MM ’98, DM ’03, is serving as the 2010-11 composer-in-residence with Chicago’s Fulcrum Point New Music Project directed by Stephen Burns. Zupko’s residency includes several performances of his work, collaborative projects with video artists, and pre-concert and post-concert discussions as well as a host of educational outreach projects within the Chicago Public School system. He is currently working on a commission for trumpet and organ that will be premiered by Stephen Burns and organist Bruce Barber as part of Fulcrum Point’s season of events in the spring.
