Benjamin D. Taylor has recently enjoyed presenting his works at the Electronic Music Midwest Festival (Kansas City), the Midwest Composer’s Symposium (Ann Arbor) as well as the Electroacoustic Barn Dance Music Festival (Virginia). He was also honored to be a Guest Composer with the Hochstein School of Music (Rochester, NY) as well as Brigham Young University (Provo, UT) where he presented a masterclass and guest lectured in orchestration and electronic music courses. The visit to BYU was in conjunction with the Utah premiere of Trailing Clouds of Glory by the BYU Symphonic Band under the direction of Kirt Saville. Mr. Taylor also recently signed a publication contract with Manhattan Beach Music.
