Samuel Wells recently had works selected for Electronic Music Midwest, Electroacoustic Barn Dance, and the Understanding Visual Music conference at Centro de Experimentaciãn e Investigaciãn en Artes Electrãnicas in Buenas Aires. Sam was also the featured performer for this yearâs Electroacoustic Barn Dance, presenting six works for trumpet and electronics. His work, Leanderâs Swim for piano and live electronics will be performed by the Kansas City Electronic Music and Arts Alliance in December. Sam has also been selected as a 2013-2014 Scholar for Humanities, Arts, Science and Technology Alliance and Collaboratory (HASTAC).
