Ezra Donner’s Mountain Suite for String Orchestra was premiered at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on October 12 by the Chamber Orchestra of New York conducted by Salvatore di Vittorio. Established in 2006, the Chamber Orchestra of New York is the first auditioned young professional orchestra in the history of New York, presenting great works of the 20th and 21st centuries, including film scores and rarely performed gems, alongside music of centuries past.
