Two Jacobs alumni shared the stage in a unique way at Carnegie Hall on Oct. 24 when violinist Jennifer Roig-Francolí, BM’90, violin, performed the world premiere of a new piece composed by her husband Miguel Roig-Francolí, MM’85, composition; Ph.D.’90, music theory; professor of music theory and composition at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) of the University of Cincinnati. Jennifer, a CCM Preparatory Department faculty member, performed “Songs of the Infinite” with pianist Adam Kent at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York.
