Composition department chair, Professor David Dzubay has won the 2010 Heckscher Foundation-Ithaca College Composition Prize ($3,000) for his chamber work, Kukulkan II, which was featured on the New Music Ensemble tour to Kosovo last April. A performance of Kukulkan II will take place on April 6 at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. The work was also performed by ONIX at the Foros Musica Nueva in Mexico City, last May. Click for more >
