
On October 1, 2025, Peter Kadeli, Doctoral Graduate in Choral Conducting at the Jacobs School of Music, was named 2nd Place winner of Dale Warland Award in Choral Conducting University Division. Each year The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts selects their winners based on performance levels of the highest caliber. Among several significant posts, Peter has gained national recognition as Head of Sacred Music and Director of Choral Activities at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts created the Dale Warland Award in Choral Conducting to honor the musical and artistic contributions of this great American conductor. As recipient of this award, it acknowledges Kadeli’s high standards and practices in the choral art.
