
JaeEun Kim (Choral Conducting, DM) has been reappointed as Associate Director of the National Chorus of Korea, that country’s only government-affiliated professional choir. More about the NCK and its history can be found here. This professional, high-profile chorus performs over 60 concerts a year, and in her first year, she contributed to 45 performances across more than 20 cities, featuring works by Puccini, Dvořák, Liszt, Bruckner, Wagner, and others. In addition to notable performances of the western canon, the organization also promotes Korean choral works, highlighting the creativity of that culture. The National Chorus of Korea tours internationally and has performed in famous music venues such as the Opéra-Comique in Paris, the Berliner Philharmonie, and the Wiener Musikverein.
