Our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Carolann Buff, recipient of a 2024 Inclusive Excellence Award from Indiana University. The award was established in 2021 by the Bloomington Faculty Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and generously funded by the Office of the Provost and the Office of Research. The award acknowledges Dr. Buff’s research which seeks to broaden the content and profile of the western medieval choral canon. Her seminars at the Jacobs School of Music offer students an opportunity to research and consider source materials previously not presented in graduate programs. Read more about her award here.
