Grant Farmer appointed Music Director of the Boise Philharmonic Master Chorale

Grant Farmer, Dir. Choral Activities, College of Idaho

Grant Farmer, Assistant Professor of Music, Director of Choral Activities at The College of Idaho, has been named interim chair of the Music Department for 2022 – 2023. In addition to conducting multiple choirs, teaching conducting and music education courses, he also conducts the operas at the college.

Grant was recently appointed to be the permanent Music Director of the Boise Philharmonic Master Chorale and will guest conduct the Boise Philharmonic in their community concert this October.

Maestro Farmer will serve as a clinician for the Treasure Valley Honor Choir and adjudicate festivals in Idaho, Utah, and Oregon.

Grant serves as the Repertoire and Standards Chair for Community Choirs for the Idaho ACDA and is a National Board Member of NCCO.
