Many of Indiana University’s faculty and students participated in iConference 2025. They proudly represent our institution as we host this year’s conference on the Bloomington campus. The iConference program co-chairs are Dr. Howard Rosenbaum, Dr. Noriko Hara, Dr. Devan Donaldson, and Dr. Carol Choksy, all of the Department of Information and Library Science in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.

- At 11:00 AM, Session Chair Matthew Francisco hosted the annual student symposium.
- Dr. Beth A. Plale, Chair of the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering in the Luddy School, gave the opening keynote address at 4:00 PM in Alumni Hall. This talk assessed the challenges and opportunities of AI research from the perspective of the broader context of compute resource shortages, data constraints, and global forces.
