This August, PhD student Athkia Subat presented her original research at a poster session at Harvard University and a research paper presentation at a conference on informational systems in Canada.
Subat’s paper, entitled “How do hashtags impact history? The use of social media in the 2024 Bangladeshi Gen Z revolution”, covers how youth-led protests in Bangladesh reflected and were influenced by social media.
