Tipton County Public Library is seeking a Collection Management Librarian who is able to select adult materials in all formats, support and manage the collections, and oversee the library’s collection management policies and procedures. The Collection Management Librarian will also be responsible for monitoring and managing the budgets for adult materials and will track, analyze, and report on collection data. This position works closely with the Technical Services staff and the Public Services staff to ensure that collections meet library standards. Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS, minimum of three years’ experience in collection development and maintenance in a public library, knowledge of current issues and trends in public library collection management, and ability to plan and manage collection budgets. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is essential. Librarian 3 Certification or ability to achieve certification within six months of employment.
