Conference Volunteers Needed!
The early bird registration ended on May 12th for the NASIG Conference this year in Indianapolis, but it’s not too late to still attend: And you can for free! If you’ll be in the Indy area this summer, this is a great way to contribute and learn more about NASIG, (formerly North American Serials Interest Group), and the work they do to advance and transform the management of information resources, including scholarly communications, serials, and electronic resources. The NASIG Conference is June 8-11, 2017 held downtown at the Westin Hotel Indianapolis, and since many attendees are traveling from out-of-state (and out-of-country!), they really need local folks to help staff the registration desk, share local information, etc., in exchange for volunteers to attend session(s) at no charge. For more information and to sign up to volunteer, contact Sue Wiegand (swiegand@saintmarys.edu), Sheree Crosby (sheree.crosby@cabells.com), and Iris Garcia (garcia@law.ucla.edu).
