Jeannine Roe, Electronic Records Archivist

Jeannine has been the Electronic Records Archivist for the Indiana Archives and Records Administration (IARA) in Indianapolis since 2016. She administers the state’s electronic records program and provides technical direction to state and county agencies regarding the management and preservation of government records. She also serves as co-chair of the Society of Indiana Archivists’ Communications Committee. Jeannine previously worked for Indiana University’s Media Digitization and Preservation Initiative (MDPI) and the Liberian Collections, and interned at the University Archives. She holds an MLS with an Archives and Records Management specialization from Indiana University and a BA in Education Studies from Berea College.

Alicia Hickman is an Assistant Film Archivist at the Indiana University Libraries Moving Image Archive. The Moving Image Archive is home to one of the largest collections of education films, many of which are currently being digitized through the Media Digitization Preservation Initiative (MDPI). At the Moving Image Archive, Alicia manages day-to-day logistics to ensure best practices relating to the physical care, handling, and conservation of films digitized through MDPI. Prior to this, she worked as a student helping to manage the preparation of video and disc formats for MDPI. She received her Masters of Library Science in 2017 from Indiana University and holds a Masters of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University.
