Schedule: Flexible; must be within the hours the library is open, 8:30-4:30 M-F

About this position: The experiences available here are broad and can apply to any type of library (special, academic, public, etc). The Indiana Supreme Court Law Library serves the five Justices of the Indiana Supreme Court, their Chamber staff, the IN Appellate Courts, the Tax Court and enterprising members of the public. We are a medium sized, two story, print and digital library and archive. We’re located in the Statehouse, which is walking distance from the IUPUI Campus.
Internship Summary: This internship is designed for students enrolled in the S605, 180-hour (3 credit) internship. We are seeking any LIS student (JD or non-JD track) with 18 hours of completed LIS coursework. Students do not need previous library experience, but should be an enthusiastic learner, have some experience with MS Word and Excel and have a friendly disposition. This internship will provide the prospective candidate with the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical experience in almost every area of librarianship in a print and digital library and archive.
