“Now that you’ve settled into the semester, come learn about how BCALA’s iBlackCaucus student group supports emerging librarians and archives. iBlackCaucus unites Black LIS students across the 57 U.S.-based Master’s in Library & Information Science (or equivalent) programs.
New and improved this academic year:
- a Padlet repository of relevant scholarships, talks, and opportunities
- an iBC WhatsApp Community with subgroups for each MLIS program
- a “Study Buddy” signup to connect with peers by availability, program, or career goals (i.e., archives, academic libraries, public libraries, school libraries, etc.)
