Job Description/Responsibilities: Provides friendly information services and reader’s advisory to library customers; develops and conducts library and reading-related programs for children. Supports Early Literacy Outreach by conducting and assisting with visits to daycare and early learning sites. Performs clerical duties necessary to the job.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in education or relevant field, with 2 years work experience working with preschool through elementary school-age children. Experience developing and conducting activities for preschool or elementary school-age children. Certification from Indiana State Library or the ability to attain one.
Salary: $ 18.23 per hour, with excellent benefits
Schedule: 40 hours per week, including some nights and weekends
