On behalf of the Federal Initiatives team at The Washington Center for Internships and Seminars, a variety of Funded Federal Diversity Internships just opened applications for the Fall 2022 session for the Library of Congress Internships (LOCI) Program.
The internship is a fully funded, full-time internship that lasts 15 weeks this Fall 2022. In this internship, interns work alongside Library of Congress employees to further the mission of the nation’s oldest cultural agency and the world’s largest library. Interns receive unprecedented access to the Library’s collections and staff, plus one-on-one mentorship and professional development opportunities. Open assignments span a variety of professional fields at the Library including, but not limited to, area studies, art, communications, human resources, information technology, library science, museum studies, and political science/policy.
This is a fully funded program meaning that all program costs, housing and roundtrip travel are paid for. In addition, students will receive a stipend of $6,000-$9,461 (depending on decision to take TWC housing) to compensate them for their work over the 15 weeks. Professional development sessions and extensive networking opportunities are also included for the students to enhance their knowledge and marketability.
