Registration is now open for the virtual RDAP (Research Data Access & Preservation Association) Summit 2022! This year’s theme is Envisioning an Inclusive Data Future and will be held March 14 – 17, 2022, on Whova. Registration for the Summit is $25 for members and students/financial hardship, and $35 for non-members. Optional pre-conference workshops on March 14th are $10 each. The registration deadline is March 4th, and spaces are limited. The full summit schedule will be posted soon, but a partial schedule of events is available on the RDAP site.
Scholarships:
Through a joint effort of the Sponsorship and Conference Action Committees, scholarships are available to cover registration for the Research Data Access & Preservation Summit 2022 and RDAP membership for one year. Applications are due on January 28th.
Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend the Summit and compose a blog post about their conference experience to be posted on the RDAP website. Scholarship winners are also strongly encouraged to write up their RDAP conference experience as a commentary for the JeSLIB RDAP 2022 Special Issue.
Paid position- Accessibility Intern
The Research and Data Access and Preservation Association (RDAP) seeks a paid dedicated intern to develop a strategic plan focused on accessibility for the RDAP annual summit and other RDAP-run virtual educational events. Preference given to a currently enrolled Ph.D. student or an M.S. student in Education, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, or a field relevant to technology access.
