The Customer Training Services Intern is responsible for providing support to the Customer Training Services Team and their key initiatives. Customer Training Services is a team of library industry experts that deliver professional product training, live and on-demand, on all EBSCO products and services across all markets, ensuring subscribers gain the knowledge they need to get the most out of their resources.
Primary Tasks
- Assisting with the support of EBSCO Academy, EBSCO’s customer learning management system, including coordinating selection and loading of recorded instructor-led training, captioning eLearning videos, generating activity reports, etc.
- Working with Training Specialists on high priority customer projects; assisting with project plan development and maintenance, gathering data through various EBSCO systems, and updating tools and collateral to meet customer needs.
- Learning proprietary and standard tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, NetCRM, etc.) to help provide meaningful reports and data points for team and customers.
- Any other projects, as assigned by manager.

Skills
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- 1+ year(s) experience using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Technical acumen – for assisting in the administration of our learning management system and video production and editing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing and/or editing video content using Camtasia or other similar programs
- Experience working with a learning management system (LMS)
- Experience working with data analysis and analytics tools like Google Analytics or Tableau
- Library industry experience
