The executive board of the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries (MAALL) just approved a $500 travel grant for library school students interested in law librarianship to attend MAALL’s Annual Meeting, held this year in Indianapolis from September 23-25.
Library Student Grant
Designed to recognize a member in the early stages of his/her/their library education who demonstrates outstanding potential for continued service and leadership in MAALL and the profession.
- The Library Student Grant will be award to one member of MAALL each year;
- Applicants must: be a full-time student in an accredited library program or a part-time student employed by a law library in the first five years of their law library career;
- Have not previously received a grant or award from MAALL or the PLLIP Emerging Leader Award;
- Not be a current or immediate past officer of MAALL or the Grants Committee;
- Applicants for the Library Student Grant will use the established travel grant application procedures.
